Great People doing Great Things

Y’all know I have not been writing as much as I used to and really the explination is simple: life has been crazy.

Now that I am stuck at home, I am kinda out of excuses. So my goal is to start posing every day (or so). But what to write about?

The wold is saturated with all the craziness and bad news around COVID-19 so my first thought was to write about completely unrelated things… kind of provide an escape from the craziness. But that seems to me a bit deaf to the reality of life right now. I am not saying I won’t write anything unrelated to COVID, just that I cannot ignore COVID altogether.

My Facebook is flooded with people approving and disapproving of how this politician or that media person should or shouldn’t be handling the situation. (FYI: That’s an easy way to get un-followed by me, if you want me to stop seeing you on Facebook.) I’ve got no appetite to wade into that chaos.

My take is pretty simple: Everyone has a perspective based on their limited personal experiences. Praise the Lord it’s not on my shoulders to make decisions that impact millions of people!

After some pondering, I decided that I want to highlight some of the great things that are happening right now in the middle of this disaster. I want to highlight companies and organizations that are doing great things, often at personal cost.

There are already a few ideas I’ve started but if there is a company or organization you want me to talk about, leave it in the comments. I hope this is a way I we can spread some positivity in this negative time.
